Good south breeze today to get in some nice sailing across the bay. Should turn west tomorrow so we can keep moving south. We got in and anchored early as a couple of storm fronts are moving in. First drops of rain just falling now. Tucked in a nice protected spot on Rhode River … joining two other boats here, and being joined by a few more it looks like. Several Sunfish sailboats are still out, so not scared off by the storms. Very nice spot here, with much of the area being preserved as part of the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center. On our trip over we saw three stingrays near the surface at different spots – first time for us. Time to duck back into the cabin and let the rain fall.
