A day in Barnegat

We’re still waiting for the weather to make the trip from Atlantic City to Cape May. Wednesday looks like we might finally get some cooperation. With no rush we decided to spend the day and another night here. There’s a municipal boat launch, fishing pier, wildlife refuge, and free beach right around the corner. We also walked a 4 mile loop into town and had an amazing lunch at Sweet Jenny’s. Batteries are topped up, and we’re planning to move south tomorrow. We’re still facing high winds the next few days and there just aren’t many protected anchorages, so planning to ‘vacation’ at an LBI marina tomorrow.
