Calm night

We had very short scope due to the anchorage, counting on light winds. All was well and the water was as much a mirror in the morning as it was when we turned in. A few projects to address before getting underway, and they took longer than expected, but that’s part of cruising …as we’ve learned.

First picture below is when we woke near high tide. Second picture is the same location when we departed two hours later. When we arrived the afternoon before at low tide, the area was an even more sizable lawn with a muddy perimeter.
