Anchored now in Browns Bay, off of Mobjack Bay, about 40nm south of the mouth of the Potomac River. We’re sitting here looking west at lightning strikes, but it looks like the worst of the storm should pass north of us. We headed out shortly after 8AM, when the marina across from us opened so we could get fuel. We had a nice southwest breeze today and sailed most of the trip. We’ve had a mix of clouds and sun today …and likely rain soon. It’s still been hot, but the breeze definitely helps.
