We did not think we’d have time to complete the ‘Carolina Loop’ as originally planned, but decided we could still get through if we put in a long day today. The weather cooperated, and all of the storms stayed south of us. We were up before the sun (photo below) heading for the Albemarle Sound. Coming back north today through the ‘other’ AICW route was another unique trip. Tonight we’re at the free dock at the Great Bridge Bridge (not a typo). A late post tonight after another evening socializing. It’s past midnight now, so happy 4th!
