We made it to Cape May and anchored in front of the Coast Guard with 12 other cruisers. We’re planning to get a very early start tomorrow to make it up the Delaware.

At perhaps five or six times on the trip we spotted dolphins. Ten miles north of Cape May we saw many across multiple points on the horizon. None too close…and all camera shy, but we did manage a few glimpses.…

Today we continued our ICW trek, and had no depth issues making it to Atlantic City. Whew. Despite growing up in New Jersey, this is my first visit. There is a great anchorage here, but more ‘extreme’ thunderstorms expected overnight…
