Today we continued our ICW trek, and had no depth issues making it to Atlantic City. Whew. Despite growing up in New Jersey, this is my first visit. There is a great anchorage here, but more ‘extreme’ thunderstorms expected overnight so we’re at the Atlantic City Aquarium, which also has several 30ft transient slips …and a nice Aquarium to visit. Travel here was mostly uneventful, and thanks to the two large motor vessels who slowed while passing the smaller boats. We did see a horseshoe crab in the wild … before seeing many in the aquarium. Planning a trip to the boardwalk shortly.
